Creative Saturday hosts Cricut Meetup

If you are a Cricut owner, bring your Cricut and power strip/extension cord and come and meet with other Cricut owners and learn new tips and techniques.

Those of us who are not Cricut owners will work with our photos, scrapping and stamping the day away!

What I love about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator

I love being creative and learning new ways to use these wonderful products. I feel so excited when I am with other creative people and the community of demonstrators feels like extended family to me. There is wonderful support from other demonstrators to become successful in my own business.

For several years, I attended many card making and stamping technique classes. I paid a LOT of money and drove far distances to learn from talented artists and be in community with other creative people, including some Stampin' Up! demonstrators.

Before I could commit to becoming a demonstrator, I needed to reconcile my passion for "using what you already own" with the concept of selling products. As in all areas of life - balance is the key.

Teaching or inspiring others to use what they already own is balanced with a new ink or cardstock color, a new tool, or a new stamp set.

Once I decided to start my Stampin' Up business, I reached out to friends to help get the word out that April Storie can teach you and your friends new stamping ideas and techniques.

Saturday, October 9th at 1 pm, my home.

I provide all the paper, ink, punches, glitter, brads, ribbon, watercolors, markers and stamps and instructions for you to make four Christmas or Winter Holiday cards.

All you need to bring:
your favorite adhesive, paper trimmer, and scissors

We will practice our watercoloring technique, brayering, and a few other techniques in these cards.

If you have never stamped before - come and join us. You will learn a lot and leave with four wonderful, handmade cards.

If you are an experienced stamper - you are welcome to come and join us. I think you will enjoy the designs of these cards and getting together with other creative people is so much more FUN!

Photos of the projects will be posted on or about September 26th. Last day to register and pay for this class is Tuesday, October 5th, so I have plenty of time to prepare enough materials for everyone.

In an attempt to make this class affordable for everyone, I am only asking for a class materials fee of $6.00. You may register and make payments using PayPal (April@AprilCreates.com), or mail me a check.
